Sporting Kansas City reached a club milestone last night in their 1-1 draw with St. Louis City SC. Calvin Harris’s goal in the 55th minute for Sporting was the 1,000 goal at home in all competitions for Sporting. The goal comes in home game number 576 in the club’s history. That includes all games at Arrowhead Stadium (208), Community America Ballpark (46), and Sporting Park (312). Along with home games at the Blue Valley District Athletic Facility in Overland Park, Kansas, (6), Julian Field at Park University in Parkville, Missouri (2), Shawnee Mission District Athletic Facility in Overland Park, Kansas (1), and Durwood Soccer Stadium on the University of Missouri, Kansas City campus (1), all facilities that Sporting KC have used for US Open Cup or US Open Cup qualifiers over the years.
