Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: Comets Close Regular Season

The Kansas City Comets ended the 2025-2026 MASL regular season over the weekend with another pair of games against the San Diego Sockers. Unfortunately the Comets struggles in overtime of late continued to be an issue as Kansas City lost both games in OT. They lose 11-10 on Friday night at Cable Dahmer Arena and then on Sunday at Frontwave Arena the Comets fell 5-4. In the process, Comets’ forward Rian Marques did clinch the league’s scoring title with 52 points on the season, a mark a Comet hasn’t reached since the 2019-2020 season. With the two losses, the Comets finished as the 5 seed for the Ron Newman Cup playoffs and will take on the St. Louis Ambush on April 6th and 8th in a home/home series. The winner will advance to face the Sockers, who clinched the MASL shield. Here are the stats and milestones from this weekend’s action.
