Questions… and Answers abound in Kansas City soccer. Let us explain.

The Shades of Blue Soccer Show is all over the place. In disarray. Do with that what you will in regards to soccer in Kansas City at the moment.

Cody is frazzled; Robert is citing a bad movie sourced from Stephen King; Thad is in the middle of it all. And that does not even cover the soccer. The Shades of Blue Soccer Show is all over the place. In disarray, if you will.

But we did get some good news in the past KC soccer week: Center back Diego Borges played 45 for Sporting KC (and newly-signed winger Capita Capemba is in camp). Tema Chawinga returned for the Current in a win. And the Comets and SKC II tried.

Yet, questions abound, as well. What is the layout of Cody’s room in his new digs? Why was Manu Garcia playing out on the right for Sporting Kansas City? Is the Teal Rising Cup a cash grab or a prestige grab?

In the meantime, we wonder at Dejan Jovelic’s, well, wonder, and talk Swope Park Rangers v SKC II… semantics or purpose? And give our Core points to victory for Sporting Kansas City v San Jose on Saturday.

We end with lamenting Patrick Agyemang’s Achille’s injury and propping up the Soccer Capital of America with a bold prediction for the weekend.

Since then, Robert has continued playing and writing about soccer, although he chose to stop coaching in 2015.
