Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: SKCII Fall in First Game of West Coast Road Trip

Sporting Kansas City II started a West Coast road swing on Thursday night at Titan Stadium in Fullterton, CA against LAFC 2. Falling behind 2-0 in the first half, KC controlled much of the second half and created a number of opportunities. Unfortunately Sporting could only find the net once through Sporting KC academy player Ty Haas. The goal, Haas’s second of the season made the score 2-1 in the 76th minute. Despite a late flurry from SKCII, including Missael Rodriguez having a shot tipped onto the bar, Sporting fell on the road. They’re back at it Monday in Tacoma against the Tacoma Defiance.
