The Kansas City Current advanced, winning the Central Division of the UKG NWSL Challenge Cup thanks to a 3-0 win over Racing Louisville on Saturday in Kansas City. Unfortunately it was the only good news for KC teams this past weekend as both Sporting KC and Sporting KC II fell in their games this past weekend. Sporting fell 4-1 on Friday night to Deportivo Toluca. On Sunday, Sporting KC II had their three game winning streak snapped on the road by the Houston Dynamo 2 by a 3-1 score line.
