A weekend without a loss for Kansas City’s professional teams this past week, but not quite a perfect weekend. Sporting KC and Sporting KC II picked up wins, both at home against Chivas Guadalajara and the Colorado Rapids 2 respectively. Before either of those teams took the field though, the KC Current kept pace to try to qualify for the knockout round of the Challenge Cup with a 0-0 draw on the road against the Chicago Red Stars. Here are the stats and milestones from this weekend’s action.

Sporting KC

Daniel Salloi made his 200th appearance in all competitions, he’s the 13th player to reach that mark.

Sporting won on a Monday for the first time in club history. They’ve now won a game on every day of the week in all competitions.

At 27 years, 12 days, Salloi is the 2nd youngest player to reach 200 appearances in all competitions.

Johnny Russell became the 11th player to score a goal in league play, playoffs, Open Cup, and international competition for KC.

Russell’s goal was his 13th game winner for KC, tying him with Chris Klein and Davy Arnaud for 4th all time on that list.

Russell made his 184th appearance in all competitions for KC, breaking his tie with Matt McKeon for 15th all time on that list.

Russell made his 157th start in all competitions, tying him with Mo Johnston for 16th all time on that list.

KC Current

Kristen Hamilton made her 53rd start in all competitions for KC, breaking her tie with Kristen Edmonds for 2nd all time on that list.

AD Franch made her 44th appearance in all competitions for KC, tying her with Victoria Pickett for 8th all time on that list.

KC NWSL

Hamilton made her 57th appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, breaking her tie with Shea Groom for 10th all time on that list.

Hamilton made her 53rd start in all competitions, tying her with Lauren Holiday for 9th all time on that list.

In the 13th minute, Elizabeth Ball passed Amy Rodriguez and moved into 12th place all time for minutes played in all competitions. She finished the game with 4,383 minutes played.

Ball and Hailie Mace made their 55th appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, breaking their tie with Katie Bowen for 12th all time on that list.

In the 51st minute, Kate Del Fava passed Rodriguez and moved into 13th place all time for minutes played in all competitions for KC NWSL teams. She finished the game with 4,345 minutes played.

Izzy Rodriguez made her 46th appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, breaking her tie with Merritt Mathias for 19th all time on that list.

Sporting KC II

Felipe Hernandez made his 100th appearance in all competitions for KC. He’s the 2nd player all time to reach that mark.

Hernandez scored his 15th goal in league play for KC, breaking his tie with Mark Anthony Gonzalez for 4th all time on that list.

At 25 years, 52 days, Hernandez became the 14th oldest player to score a goal in league play or in all competitions for SKCII.

Ozzie Cisneros made her 43rd appearance in league play for SKCII, tying him with Enoch Mushagalusa for 18th all time on that list.

Cisneros made his 43rd appearance in all competitions, tying him with Mushagalusa for 19th all time on that list.
