Sporting KC was back on the field on Thursday night against St. Louis City SC in the first game after the World Cup break. Two of Sporting’s new signings made their debuts as Or Blorian started and Emir Karic came on as a half time substitute. Joveljic’s goal was his 10th in league play away from home for KC, tying him with Mo Johnston and Scott Sealy for 15th all time on that list.

It was his 10th away goal in all competitions for KC, tying him with Sealy, Johnston, CJ Sapong, Ike Opara, and Krisztian Nemeth for 15th all time on that list.

Stephen Afrifa made his 43rd substitute appearance in all competitions, tying him with Marinos Tzionis for 14th all time on that list.

It was his 38th substitute appearance in MLS competitions, tying him with Gerso Fernandes for 15th all time on that list.
