A busy weekend of soccer in Kansas City that saw all four professional teams on the field locally got started on Friday night with the Kansas City Comets taking on the Milwaukee Wave at Cable Dahmer Arena. Stefan Mijatovic led the way for the Comets recording a goal and two assists as the Comets topped the Wave 9-6. The Comets remain in third place in the MASL’s standings sitting on 44 points with four games remaining. This coming weekend will see the Comets play a home and home series with the Tacoma Stars before closing their regular season out with a road trip to the East Coast to take on Utica and Baltimore.
