The Kansas City Comets’ season has not been going the way most people would have expected given the way they started the season. Unfortunately the Comets’ season has most come off the rails after a long losing streak. On Sunday in San Diego though the Comets made a statement that they weren’t ready to go down just yet. They took it to the first place team in the MASL’s Western Conference, beating the San Diego Sockers 9-4. Here are the stats and milestones from Sunday.
KC Comets
Ramone Palmer made his 181st appearance in league play, tying him with Lucas Rodriguez for 3rd all time on that list.
Ignacio Flores made his 150th league appearance for KC, he’s the 6th player to reach that mark.
Rian Marques’s 3 goals gave him 49 in league play for KC, tying him with Geison for 12th all time on that list.
Marques’s assist was his 21st in all competitions, breaking his tie with Max Touloute for 18th all time on that list.
Nicolau Neto made his 74th league appearance for KC, breaking his tie with Mirko Sandivari for 18th all time on that list.
Lucas Sousa’s 1st goal was his 100th goal/assist for the Comets in all competitions, he’s the 10th player to reach that mark.
