Three weeks left for the Summer Transfer Window

With no Sporting KC game last week – and no official transfer announcements – Shades of Blue’s newest episode discusses the urgency in the final three weeks of the MLS Summer Transfer Window.

The Athletic reported last week a verbal agreement between Sporting KC and Olympiacos’ Andre Luiz. When announced, that would make it the third highest transfer fee in MLS history. However, some are questioning the high price tag considering the 24-year-old’s recent form and transfers.

There has been no official word from Sporting KC, but we expect details to be finalized and an announcement coming soon.

Do the transfers end with Luiz? Or does David Lee have time to bring in even more reinforcements in the final weeks?

The KC Current settled for a draw in Houston, but Debinha became the all-time leading scorer in NWSL across all competitions.
