Sporting Kansas City II picked up their third straight result, picking up a 2-2 draw against Vancouver Whitecaps 2 on Friday night at Children’s Mercy Victory Field. Unfortunately SKCII fell in the shootout after the draw 4-2 on penalty kicks. The stretch of results is the longest run of the season for SKCII after a win over the Real Monarchs, a draw and shootout win over North Texas SC, and then the draw and shootout loss to the Whitecaps. Here are the stats and milestones from Friday night’s game.

Nati Clarke made his 59th league start for KC, tying him with Graham Smith for 4th all time on that list.

Johann Ortiz recorded his 7th league assist for KC, tying him with Sebastian Cruz, Kharlton Belmar, Mark Anthony Gonzalez, and Ayrton for 8th all time on that list.

It was his 7th assist in all competitions as well, tying him with Cruz, Gonzalez, Ayrton, and Tyler Pasher for 9th all time on that list.

In the 25th minute, Maouloune Goumballe passed Belmar and moved into 11th place all time for minutes played in all competitions for KC. In the 27th minute, Goumballe then passed Jake Davis and moved into 10th all time on that list. He finished the game with 4,543 minutes played.

Goumballe made his 51st league start for KC, tying him with Davis and Wan Kuzain for 7th all time on that list.

Goumballe made his 52nd start in all competitions, tying him with Colton Storm for 9th all time on that list.

Goumballe and Cielo Tschantret made their 53rd league appearance for KC, breaking their tie with Ozzie Cisneros for 12th all time on that list.

Goumballe and Tschantret made their 54th appearance in all competitions for KC, tying them with Belmar and Adrian Zendejas for 15th all time on that list.

Tschantret made his 42nd league start for KC, tying him with Chris Rindov for 16th all time on that list.

It was his 43rd start in all competitions, tying him with Rindov for 17th all time on that list.
