The KC Current advanced to the club’s first final with a 2-0 victory over the North Carolina Courage in the semifinal of the NWSL x LigaMX Femenil Summer Cup at CPKC Stadium. The win sets up a match up with NJ/NY Gotham FC in October in the final. Here are stats and milestones from the game.

AD Franch recorded her 14th win in all competitions for KC, the most in a single season in KC’s history, beating out Franch’s 13 wins in the 2022 season.

Kristen Hamilton made her 71st appearance in all competitions, tying her with Izzy Rodriguez and Kate Del Fava for 5th all time on that list.

In the 48th minute, Michelle Cooper passed Victoria Pickett and moved into 13th place all time for minutes played in all competitions for KC. In the 71st minute, Cooper then passed CeCe Kizer and moved into 12th place all time on that list. She finished the game with 3,210 minutes played.

Cooper made her 44th appearance in all competitions, tying her with Pickett and Alex Loera for 11th all time on that list.

Debinha made her 38th appearance in all competitions for KC, tying her with Gabrielle Robinson for 15th all time on that list.

In the 89th minute, Alexa Spaanstra passed Taylor Leach and moved into 20th all time for minutes played in all competitions for KC. She finished the game with 1,658 minutes played.

KC NWSL

Franch won her 14th game in all competitions, setting the record for the most wins in a single season in KC NWSL history, beating out her 13 wins in 2022 and Nicole Barnhart’s 13 wins in 2014.

In the 64th minute, Franch passed Erika Tymrak and moved into 6th place all time for minutes played in all competitions for KC NWSL teams. She finished the game with 6,570 minutes played.

Debinha’s goal as her 17th in all competitions, tying her with Shea Groom for 6th all time on that list.

Hamilton made her 71st appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, tying her with Rodriguez and Del Fava for 10th all time on that list.
