Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: First Current Hattrick
All three Kansas City teams were back in action this past weekend with two wins and a draw for KC’s three teams. On Saturday the KC Current and Sporting KC II both picked up wins. The Current won their Challenge Cup game against the Houston Dash 3-1 and Sporting KC II took down North Texas SC 2-1 with both teams coming from behind to get results. On Sunday, Sporting KC took the field against FC Cincinnati in the Leagues Cup. Unlike the other two teams, Sporting took the lead here but couldn’t hang on, tying 3-3 and falling in the shootout for the extra point 4-2. Here are the stats and milestones from this weekend.
