A rough weekend for Sporting KC and Sporting KC II as both teams lost their games this weekend. Sporting KC saw their three game unbeaten run end with a 3-2 loss to the Seattle Sounders on Saturday night. On Sunday, Sporting KC II extended their season long winless run to fifteen games in league play and sixteen games in all competitions with a 3-1 loss to The Town FC on the road.

Here are the stats and milestones from this weekend.

Sporting KC

The loss to the Seattle Sounders is the first time since 2013/2014 that Sporting has lost back to back games against the Sounders. A stretch of 19 games.

Khiry Shelton made his 100th league start for KC, he’s the 33rd player to reach that mark.

Shelton made his 165th appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Mo Johnston for 16th all time on that list.

John Pulskamp made his 50th start in league play for KC, he’s the 69th player to reach that mark.

Pulskamp made his 50th start in MLS competitions, he’s the 71st player to reach that mark.

Jordan Morris scored his 9th goal against KC in league play, tying him with Juan Pablo Angel for the 8th most.

Sporting KC II

Nati Clarke made his 50th start in all competitions for KC, he’s the 11th player to reach that mark.

Making his 50th start in all competitions tied Clarke with Tyler Pasher for 10th all time on that list.

In the 36th minute, Clarke passed Jahon Rad and moved into 9th all time for league minutes played for KC. In the 62nd minute, Clarke then passed Adrian Zendejas and moved into 8th all time on that list. He finished the game with 4,258 minutes played.

Clarke made his 63rd appearance in all competitions, breaking his tie with Jake Davis for 7th all time on that list.

Clarke made his 49th league start, tying him with Wilson Harris for 8th all time on that list.

In the 15th minute, Clarke passed Rad and moved into 11th place for minutes played in all competitions for KC. He finished the game with 4,369 minutes played.

In the 28th minute, Maouloune Goumballe passed Kayden Pierre and moved into 19th all time for minutes played in league play for KC. He finished the game with 3,463 minutes played.

Goumballe made his 40th league start for KC, tying him with Sebastian Cruz for 17th all time on that list.

Goumballe made his 41st start in all competitions, tying him with Cruz for 18th all time on that list.
