Sporting Kansas City picked up a 2-1 win over Charlotte FC in the first match up between the two clubs since Charlotte joined MLS in 2022. The win for Sporting was the third time in their history they’ve scored an equalizer and winner in second half stoppage time. Here are the stats and milestones from the game.

At 17 years, 19 days, Ian James became the 2nd youngest player to appear in a league game for KC.

Daniel Salloi appeared against his 29th different MLS team in league play and in all competitions, breaking his tie with Roger Espinoza and Khiry Shelton for the most in club history.

Salloi appeared against his 39th different opponent in all competitions for KC, tying him with Graham Zusi for the 2nd most all time.

In the 60th minute, Salloi passed Chris Klein and moved into 11th place all time for league minutes played for KC. He finished the game with 16,407 minutes played.

Salloi made his 273rd appearance in all competitions for KC, tying him with Nick Garcia and Kerry Zavagnin for 6th all time on that list.

Salloi went over the 20,000 minutes played professionally for Sporting KC and Sporting KC II.

Jansen Miller finished the game with 1,395 minutes played in his rookie year. That’s now the most minutes played by a rookie for Sporting since CJ Sapong in 2011 (2,096).

Jake Davis made his 90th appearance in all competitions for KC, tying him with Kevin Ellis for the 2nd most appearances by Sporting Homegrown Players, trailing only Salloi.
