Over the weekend Sporting KC and Sporting KC II picked up a pair of 0-0 draws. Sporting KC on Saturday night earned a 0-0 draw with San Diego FC on the road. On Sunday afternoon, Sporting KC II returned to the field after a two week break and earned a 0-0 draw at home against Town FC. Unfortunately for SKCII that’s their ninth straight without a win in league play and tenth straight in all competitions. To compound that, SKCII lost the shootout 5-4 with Town taking the extra point. Here are stats and milestones from the games.

Sporting KC

Daniel Salloi played against his 38th different opponent across all competitions, breaking his tie with Matt Besler for the 3rd most unique opponents all time.

Salloi made his 51st substitute appearance in MLS competitions, tying him with Graham Zusi for 5th all time on that list.

Khiry Shelton made his 158th appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Chance Myers for 18th all time on that list.

He made his 148th appearance in league play, breaking his tie with Myers for 18th all time on that list.

Sporting KC II

In the 57th minute, Nati Clarke passed Sebastian Cruz and moved into 15th place all time for league minutes played for KC. He finished the game with 3,859 minutes played.

In the 37th minute, Clarke passed Cruz and moved into 17th place all time for minutes played in all competitions for KC. In the 66th minute, Clarke then passed Parker Maher and moved into 16th place on that list. In the 75th minute, Clarke then passed John Pulskamp and moved into 15th place all time on that list. He finished the game with 3,970 minutes played.

Clarke made his 57th appearance in all competitions, tying him with Kaveh Rad for 10th all time on that list.

Clarke made his 44th league start for KC, tying him with Pulskamp for 12th all time on that list.

It was his 45th start in all competitions, breaking his tie with Pulskamp for 14th all time on that list.
