The weekend of soccer in KC continued with Sporting KC and Sporting KC II in action at home as well this weekend. On Friday night, Sporting KC II continued their start to their MLS Next Pro season against St. Louis City 2, falling 1-0. On Saturday night Sporting KC came back from three goals down to win their first point of the season in a 3-3 draw with Minnesota United. Here are the stats and milestones from those games.

Sporting KC

Khiry Shelton made his 58th substitute appearance in all competitions, tying him with Gomez for 3rd all time on that list.

Shelton made his 54th substitute appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Jack Jewsbury for 2nd all time on that list.

Shelton made his 51st substitute appearance in league play for KC, breaking his tie with Graham Zusi for 3rd all time on that list.

Robert Voloder made his 50th appearance in MLS competitions for KC, he’s the 91st player to reach that mark.

It was Voloder’s 50th league appearance for KC, he’s the 85th player to reach that mark.

Sporting KC II

In the 34th minute, Nati Clarke passed Oumar Ballo and moved into 19th place all time for minutes played in all competitions. He finished the game with 3,353 minutes played.

Clarke made his 48th league appearance for KC, tying him with Kharlton Belmar and Kris Tyrpak for 15th all time on that list.

Clarke made his 49th appearance in all competitions, breaking his tie with Chris Rindov for 20th all time on that list.

Clarke made his 37th league start for KC, tying him with Petar Cuic for 19th all time on that list.
