Across State Lines: Toye Signing in Germany

Former Sporting Kansas City forward, Mason Toye looks to have a new club. Reports out of Germany are that the 27 year old has signed a contract with FC Ingolstadt. Ingolstadt currently plays in the German third division, and this season are sitting in 14th place with 22 points. Toye spent one season with Kansas City scoring three goals and adding two assists while playing in 21 games in 2025. Up until now, Toye has spent his entire playing career in the US and Canada.

There’s more movement going on this week with other players moving clubs as Robert Voloder’s move to the New York Red Bulls and Dany Rosero’s to America de Cali both became official this past week. Also this week, Alenis Vargas is heading to Turkey on loan, joining Manisa FK. A fourth player that looks to be on the move is former academy player, Ramiz Hamouda who looks to be joining Werder Bremen from USL Championship side, Brimingham in May once he turns 18.
