The Kansas City Comets finished their season series with the St. Louis Ambush this past week with a pair of games. Unfortunately for the Comets after winning the first four match ups with the Ambush, St. Louis came away winners in the final two games. St. Louis won a New Year’s Eve game in St. Charles 5-4 in overtime. On Sunday in Kansas City, the Ambush again came away winners, this time in a shootout after the teams played to a 6-6 tie through regulation and overtime.
