The Kansas City Current returned to NWSL regular season play after the World Cup break. It was the club’s first trip to Denver to take on expansion side, the Denver Summit. Two goals from Michelle Cooper and Temwa Chawinga adding another team to her list of team’s she scored against led the Current to a 3-0 win. It was their second road win of the season.
