Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: Loyo Reynaga Becomes SKCII’s Youngest Goal Scorer

Results have been tough to come by this season for both Sporting KC and Sporting KC II. The later of which picked up their first win of the MLS Next Pro season, 3-2 over Whitecaps 2. In the game, KC’s Zamir Loyo Reynaga became the youngest goalscorer for SKCII, as he’s just over 15 years old, over a full year younger than the club’s second youngest goal scorer, Tyler Freeman. Youth is the name of this week’s update as Sporting KC also added two new players to their list of youngest players to start games for the club. Heres’ all the stats from this weekend.

Sporting KC

Cielo Tschantret became the 12th player to make their debut for Sporting in 2026, that’s the most players to debut for the club in league play since 2015 when 13 players made their debut. It’s the most in all competitions since 2016 when 16 players made their debut.

At 20 years, 54 days, Tschantret became the 19th youngest player to start a league game for KC.

At 19 years, 294 days, Kwaku Agyabeng became the 12th youngest player to start a league game for KC.

Agyabeng became the 16th youngest player to start a game in all competitions for KC.

Stephen Afrifa made his 32nd substitute appearance in league play, tying him with Jimmy Medranda, Paul Wright, and Cam Duke for 19th all time on that list.

It was his 37th substitute appearance in all competitions, tying him with Brian Johnson for 18th all time on that list.

Sporting KC II

Zamir Loyo Reynaga became the youngest goal scorer for SKCII in league play and in all competitions.

Kashan Hines became the 6th youngest goal scorer for SKCII in league play and in all competitions.

Shane Donovan made his 38th league start for KC, tying him with Kayden Pierre and Parker Maher for 20th all time on that list.
