The Kansas City Current continued their perfect start to the 2025 NWSL season with a 2-0 win on the road Saturday against the San Diego Wave. Debinha scored her 50th goal in her NWSL career while Lo LaBonta scored from the penalty spot in the win. LaBonta also reached a milestone for Kansas City, becoming the first woman to appear in 100 games across all competitions for the Current. Here are the stats and milestones from Saturday night.

KC Current

Lo LaBonta made her 100th start in all competitions for KC. She’s the 1st player to reach that mark.

Debinha’s goal as her 23rd in all competitions for KC, tying her with Kristen Hamilton for second all time on that list.

Izzy Rodriguez recorded her 6th league assist for KC, breaking her tie with Temwa Chawinga for 6th all time on that list.

It was her 8th in all competitions, breaking her tie with Alex Loera and Michelle Cooper for 5th all time on that list.

In the 71st minute, Temwa Chawinga passed Loera and moved into 16th place all time for league minutes played for KC. She finished the game with 2,498 minutes played.

Chawinga made her 29th league appearance, tying her with Chardonnay Curran for 17th all time on that list.
