A weekend with some major milestones for two members of the KC soccer community as Peter Vermes was in charge of his 500th MLS match for Sporting KC. Meanwhile in Orlando, Lo LaBonta tied Nicole Barnhart for the most starts across all competitions for Kansas City NWSL teams. Here are the stats and milestones from this past weekend’s action.

Sporting KC

Peter Vermes was in charge of his 500th league game for Sporting KC. He’s the first manager in MLS history to reach 500 games with one team.

At 38 years, 123 days, Tim Melia became the 2nd oldest player to play in a league game for KC, passing Mo Johnston.

Daniel Salloi made his 217th appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Jimmy Conrad and Chris Klein for 10th all time on that list.

Salloi made his 204th league appearance for KC, tying him with Conrad for 10th all time on that list.

Johnny Russell made his 205th appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Jack Jewsbury for 13th all time on that list.

Dany Rosero made his 50th start in MLS competitions, he’s the 68th player to reach that mark.

Tim Leibold made his 50th appearance in all competitions for KC, he’s the 95th player to reach that mark.

KC Current

In the 19th minute, Elizabeth Ball passed AD Franch and moved into 2nd all time for league minutes played for KC. She finished the game with 5,173 minutes played.

In the 62nd minute, Hailie Mace passed Franch and moved into 3rd all time for league minutes played for KC. She finished the game with 5,157 minutes played.

Izzy Rodriguez made her 74th appearance in all competitions, tying her with Franch for 4th all time on that list.,

Michelle Cooper made her 36th league appearance for KC, breaking her tie with CeCe Kizer and Victoria Pickett for 10th all time on that list.

Cooper made her 46th appearance in all competitions, breaking her tie with Kizer for 10th all time on that list.

In the 7th minute, Debinha passed Alex Loera and moved into 14th place all time for league minutes played for KC. In the 40th minute, Debinha then passed Cooper and moved into 13th place on that list. In the 72nd minute, Debinha then passed Kizer and moved into 12th place all time on that list. She finished the game with 2,562 minutes played.

Rindov mad his 39th league start for KC, breaking his tie with Maher and Kayden Pierre for 15th all time on that list.

In the 25th minute Sebastian Cruz passed Maher and moved into 16th place all time for league minutes played for KC. He finished the game with 3,596 minutes played.

Cruz made his 53rd league appearance for KC, breaking his tie with Ozzie Cisneros for 10th all time on that list.

Cruz made his 55th appearance in all competitions for KC, tying him with Maher, Nansel Selbol, and Tyler Pasher for 10th all time on that list.
