Former Players

Across State Lines: Palmer-Brown Left Off Panathinaikos’ European Roster

Published

on

Erik Palmer-Brown’s move to Panathinaikos has not been the most successful move overall for the former Sporting KC HomeGrown Player. Bone Marrow Edema (fluid build up in the bone marrow) last year limited Palmer-Brown to just three appearances with the Greek club, the last of which was September 28th of 2023. With the 2024-2025 season getting ready to kick Palmer-Brown has reportedly returned to the club and is in preseason with them. Finishing fourth in the Greek Super League last season saw Panathinaikos qualify for Europa League qualifying this season. Unfortunately Palmer-Brown will not be taking part in that competition early on as he was left off the club’s roster for the tournament.

Also as the European season gets closer, players will be signing with new teams, former Sporting KC II player, Ayyoub Allach has joined another former SKCII player, Jerome Ngom Mbekeli at Sheriff in Moldova this summer.

Here’s this week’s full update.
