Across State Lines: Saravia, Guatemala Advance in Gold Cup

The Gold Cup continues in the US with the group stage finishing up last night with the final teams advancing to the quarterfinals being decided. One of the teams has a former Kansas City player among them as former Swope Park Ranger, Rodrigo Saravia, and Guatemala finished second in Group C to group winners Panama. Saravia appeared in all three of Guatemala’s group games and they will now play Canada in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
