This week on the Shades of Blue Soccer Show, we’re talking rumors of new players for Sporting KC, the US Men’s National Team, and all the World Cup festivities.

The crew relives Messi’s hat trick, a memorable night for Curaçao, traffic congestion, discusses the complaints from local businesses about a lack of visitors. One thing is for sure, the areas immediately along the streetcar route have been very lively. The plaza is bustling once again! So far, Kansas City is having its moment.

Rumors have started to roll in for Sporting KC. David Lee has the wheels turning and he say he’s aiming to bring in quite a few players. The latest rumor is about 29-year-old Emir Karic out of Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga. Our own Thad Bell tells us what he’s hearing from the training ground and if he expects any announcements coming soon.

It’s been a dream start to the World Cup for the USMNT. Now, they can take some liberties in the final group stage match with Türkiye. The crew talks through the first two matches, hates on the Australian team, and tries to manage the hype train.

We also take a look at how the path through the elimination rounds may look for the Yanks and dare to dream about just how far they can go.
