Across State Lines: Kamara Signs with Cincinnati

Published

on

Kei Kamara has a new club. The former Sporting Kansas City forward has signed with FC Cincinnati for the rest of the 2025 season. Kamara, the league’s second all time leading scorer joins Cincinnati, the twelfth MLS club he will play for, though he had previously been with Cincinnati. Kamara had been selected by FC Cincinnati in their expansion draft ahead of the 2019 season, but was immediately traded to the Colorado Rapids. Kamara passed Landon Donovan to become the league’s second all time leading scorer with 147 goals, trailing on Chris Wondolowski. He scored three goals in twenty-seven appearances in league play for Los Angeles FC last year. He also scored against Sporting KC in the US Open Cup Final last year.

Elsewhere this week there were a number of goals and a couple red cards this week. Check out all the updates below.
