Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: The Losing Streak Ends

The Kansas City Comets returned home this week after their long road trip. On Friday night they extended their franchise worse losing streak to eight with a 5-5 (2-1) shootout loss to the Tacoma Stars. On Saturday night against the Empire Strykers though the Comets finally ended their losing streak in comfortable fashion as they defeated the Stykers 7-2 to improve their record to 8-6-3 on the season. The win was important for the Comets as their season schedule doesn’t get much easier. They’ll first take on the Chihuahua Savage at home next Friday before starting a West Coast road trip against the San Diego Sockers and the Strykers.
