Published

on

The USL Championship’s new television deal has them getting three games in the 2024 season on national TV on CBS. This past weekend, the first of those games took place between Louisville City and Indy Eleven. Former Sporting KC HomeGrown Player, Wilson Harris had himself a day for Louisville in a 5-3 win. Harris recorded a hattrick and added an assist for Louisville in the win. In the still early USL Championship season, Harris is currently sitting on top of the scoring charts with seven goals in Louisville’s first five games of the season.

Harris wasn’t the only former player to score a hattrick this past weekend, as former Sporting KC II player, Rojay Smith also scored a hattrick. Smith recorded a hattrick for his team in the Jamaican Premier League, Dunbeholden FC in their 4-2 win over Vere United this past week. There were a lot of other goals scored this week too with Yohan Croizet scoring a brace against his parent club Ujpest while being loaned to Zalaegerszegi TE, check out this week’s full update below.
