Took this from Reddit but might be curious:

John and Cisneros are no longer listed on the roster on the website and ford is listed as a season ending injury. Could be nothing, could be a precursor to an announcement that at least the first two got loaned out to skc2 or somewhere else for the rest of the season now that the window is open

Chad Smith

The three missing players are apparently nothing (https://twitter.com/sperrydaniel94/status/1676671621577187329).

As for Ford, they had to put him on the SEI by July 5th if they want to use the injury replacement player (and get his $165k in salary relief). I suspect that’s all that is, but shame he just got back to running.

Damnit chad why do you have to rain in on my conspiracy train.

Side note I miss the sarcasm font

Eric Vidoni

I’m really interested to hear some perspectives on the Guti signing. On the one hand, he’s among my favorites in my time watching.

On the other, what is the contribution he makes for the remainder of the year? How does it help us with our push for playoffs? Are we losing someone? Surely this doesn’t bode well for development of Hernandez, Flores, Bryant, Duke. Maybe Espinoza’s tapping out?

And, boy, does it ever feed into that ongoing narrative of Vermes’ doubling down on older guys he trusts.

Will be really interesting to see how this plays out.
