Sporting KC forward, Dejan Joveljic made his 100th start in MLS yesterday in KC’s 2-1 loss to the New York Red Bulls. It was his 45th start for Sporting to go along with his 55 he made for the LA Galaxy. Also this weekend, Sporting KC II dropped their final home game until mid-July, falling 3-0 to Austin FC II. Stephen Afrifa made his 42nd substitute appearance in all competitions for KC, breaking his tie with Gerso Fernandes for 15th all time on that list.

It was his 37th substitute appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Brian Johnson for 16th all time on that list.

Sporting KC II

Shane Donovan made his 50th league appearance for SKCII. He’s the 17th player to reach that mark.

Making his 50th league appearance tied Donovan with Parker Maher for 16th all time on that list.

In the 35th minute, Donovan passed Wilson Harris and moved into 16th place all time for minutes played in all competitions for SKCII. He finished the game with 4,068 minutes played.

In the 73rd minute, Donovan passed John Pulskamp and moved into 15th all time for league minutes played for SKCII. He finished the game with 3,978 minutes played.

Donovan made his 44th league start for KC, tying him with Pulskamp for 15th all time on that list.

It was his 45th start in all competitions, breaking his tie with Pulskamp for 17th all time on that list.

Johann Ortiz made his 50th appearance in all competitions, he’s the 24th player to reach that mark.

Ortiz made he 49th league appearance for SKCII, tying him with Nansel Selbol for 18th all time on that list.

Carter Derksen made his 16th substitute appearance in league play, tying him with Harris, Sebastian Cruz, Rojay Smith, Dominik Resetar, Will Little, and Bryam Rebellon for 9th all time on that list.

It was his 16th substitute appearance in all competitions for KC, tying him with Smith, Resetar, Josh Coan, and Felipe Hernandez for 14th all time on that list.
