Jereko Signs Permanent Deal with HB Køge

Kansas City Current midfielder, Mwanalima Adam Jereko has permanently departed the Current, signing a contract with sister club, HB Køge in the Danish A-Liga. Jereko had joined the Danish club earlier this year on loan along with teammate Flora Marta Lacho.

Jereko joined Kansas City in August of 2024 and made four appearances across all competitions in the remainder of the 2024 season, including in the final of the 2024 NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup. A 2-0 win against Gotham FC in San Antonio, Texas. She made just one appearance for the club in 2025 before departing on loan. Since joining Køge on loan, Jereko has appeared eight times in league play for the club and another four times in cup competitions. She’s started nine of those twelve games. She’s also scored two goals for them in cup play.
