After a disappointing start to the long holiday weekend that saw both the KC Current and Sporting KC II lose at home on Friday, Sporting KC ended the weekend on a high note taking care of business against the Portland Timbers. The Current dropped their third straight home game, and their third straight 2-0 loss, this time to the Houston Dash. Over in Lawrence, SKCII dropped a 1-0 result at home to the Real Monarchs. On Sunday though Sporting defeated the Timbers 4-1. Here are the stats and milestones from the three games.

Sporting KC

Daniel Salloi’s goal was his 14th game winner in league play for KC, breaking his tie with Dom Dwyer and Preki for the most in club history.

It was Salli’s 17th game winner in all competitions, breaking his tie with Dwyer for the most all time on that list as well.

Salloi scored his 52nd goal in all competitions, tying him with Davy Arnaud for 4th all time on that list.

Salloi scored his 44th goal in MLS competitions, tying him with Josh Wolff for 5th all time on that list.

In the 89th minute, Salloi passed Wolff and moved into 20th place all time for league minutes played for KC. Salloi finished the game with 11,469 minutes played.

In the 54th minute Salloi passed Michael Harrington and moved into 20th place all time for minutes played in MLS competitions. He finished the game with 12,120 minutes played.

Roger Espinoza recorded his 44th assist in league play for KC, breaking his tie with Benny Feilhaber for 4th all time on that list.

Espinoza made his 45th substitute appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Ryan Pore for 6th all time on that list.

It was Espinoza’s 42nd substitute appearance in league play, breaking his tie with Pore, CJ Sapong, and Teal Bunubry for 6th all time on that list.

Gadi Kinda made his 50th league appearance for KC, he’s the 76th player to reach that mark.

Felipe Hernandez made his 41st substitute appearance in all competitions, tying him with Gerso Fernandes for 12th all time on that list.

Hernandez made his 37th substitute appearance in league play, breaking his tie with Daniel Salloi for 11th all time on that list.

Khiry Shelton made his 34th substitute appearance in all competitions, tying him with Paul Wright for 19th all time on that list.

Shelton made his 31st substitute appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Stephen Armstrong for 20th all time on that list.

Shelton made his 29th substitute appearance in league play, tying him with Marinos Tzionis for 19th all time on that list.

KC Current

Current

Kate Del Fava made her 53rd appearance in all competitions for KC, tying her with Kristen Edmonds for 2nd all time on that list.

Kristen Hamilton made her 38th league appearance, tying her with Elizabeth Ball for 5th all time on that list.

Hamilton made her 48th appearance in all competitions, breaking her tie with Ball for 5th all time on that list.

Izzy Rodriguez made her 25th league appearance, tying her with Taylor Leach and Addie McCain for 10th all time on that list.

KC NWSL

Lo LaBonta made her 95th appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, tying her with Erika Tymrak for 3rd all time on that list.

In the 40th minute, Hailie Mace passed Brittany Kolmel and moved into 15th place all time for minutes played in all competitions for KC NWSL teams. She finished the game with 3,830 minutes played.

Mace made her 36th league start for KC NWSL teams, breaking her tie with Merritt Mathias for 17th all time on that list.

Mace made her 43rd start in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, breaking her tie with Kolmel for 15th all time on that list.

Del Fava made her 53rd appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, tying her with Edmonds, Frances Silva, and Lauren Holiday for 11th all time on that list.

Mace and Del Fava made their 40th appearance in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, breaking their tie with Becca Moros for 17th all time on that list.

Hamilton made her 38th appearance in league play for KC NWSL teams, tying her with Ball for 20th all time on that list.

It was his 62nd appearance in all competitions as well, tying him with Davis for 6th all time on that list as well.

Rad made his 39th league start, breaking his tie with Parker Maher for 13th all time on that list.
