KC struggles continue – Keeping Current podcast

Jillian Carroll Letrinko from the Kansas City Current broadcast team, Daniel Sperry from the Kansas City Star, and Thad Bell from the Kansas City Soccer Journal are back with another episode of Keeping Current with Kansas City. The Current are on a four-game losing streak across all competitions and have not looked good overall. The young defense has struggled, AD Franch has not regained her form and the offense has been hit or miss. More miss in some games. A positive is getting Kristen Hamilton back but it will take a while to get her back into full game shape.

Coach Caroline Sjöblom has criticized her team for not playing through tired legs and not playing tough enough. Will coach change the formation up? Can she turn it around?

The crew breaks down the latest loss and talks about what the Current can do going forward and when they expect to get players back from injury. Missing a few players does not give coach a lot of options on defense and defensive midfield.

Up next is the Houston Dash. Kansas City has typically played well against Houston but they will need to get back in form as a team and overcome a lack of confidence.
