Lineups

I’m sure it will be the same guys from the weekend but I’d love to see some of these guys who have been busting their humps all along get a break so we can go into StL, which is infinitely more winnable than LAFC given both opponents’ form right now, at full strength. The last couple years I feel like there’s been at least one game a season where they rotate like crazy for a midweek on the road, sometimes even changing the formation. I’d love to see something like this in LA:
Pulskamp
Zusi – Castellanos – Fontas – Voloder – Ndenbe
Tzionis-Hernandez-Radoja-Kinda
Pulido
Just play for the scoreless draw midweek, give guys like Rosero, Davis, Walter, Thommy, and the wingers a reprieve for at least part of a game so we can go put it on StL with our full strength lineup.
I would not be surprised to see this be a fully rotated team, at least to start. And if the game is close, bring starters on the last 30mins to try to save a point.
3pts vs St Louis is much more achievable. And playing the starters 270mins in a week w/ 2 road games is asking for 2 Ls.
Yeah, that STL match is suddenly looking more competitive than I thought possible for most of the season so far. That should be the focus.
I’m going to guess that Pulido is going to get some rest at some point after going 90 the other night. With an unproven backup as his only option, I am going to predict Kinda plays some 9 (False 9) during one of these 2 games. Kinda, Thommy, and Walter all playing in an attacking role at the same time will be very interesting if it happens.
