I like how immediately we can see Manu Garcia in areas where he can be dangerous. Past games we just couldn’t get him on the ball in dangerous areas.
Not super inspiring for me. Our midfield three do not have good positioning and they cannot push forward together in the attack when we have an opportunity. I hate that we never try and take advantage of a fast break or to attack with pace. We feel the need to slowly work the ball around but all it does is allow them to set up their defense so we can only score off of bouncing balls played from the wings or shots outside the box. It’s so frustrating to watch.
To be fair, when they’ve had an opportunity to break they have, but they keep losing the ball with bad passes.
Joveljic is such an efficient striker man. Dude will take one or two shots and score. I think he has 3-4 shots all season and has 3 goals. Great creativity from SKC, specifically Manu Garcia.
LETS FREAKIN GO!!!! Hell yes SKC! I had very few wishes going into this season but beating St. Louis was one of them. We NEEDED this win tonight and once we went up, it felt like they started to believe again. Love to see them get scrappy at the end. So freakin happy with this one. And Joveljic is showing his worth in this one. He really does need services but he’s hella efficient when he gets it.
