No Walter. when Peter said he should be good to go. I dislike the way Peter talks about injury so much.

Josh Wallace

Really excited to see today’s matchups.

Jake Davis will have his biggest test of the year against the league’s best winger in Bouanga. Really excited to see how they match up.

I dont love Memo Rodriguez in the midfield, I thought Felipe would bring more bite and balance with and without the ball, where Memo might be more offensively inclined.

Thus far I’ve been wrong. Memo has had two really good switches of play and made really good decisions in the midfield.

futbolfan02

do the announcers know how to say salloi smh

jdkus11

Glad to see us taking some shots early, but also want to see more chances in the 18.

great save from Melia again

jdkus11

4 or 5 shots tonight have been outside the 18. I just remember last year we would take 20 something shots and 75% of them were outside the box. Our only goals this season are outside the box. We’ve got to generate better opportunities.

jdkus11

5 shots with 0.15 XG is junk.

Chadwyn(aka dachefsfan)

well guys it was fun watching while i could… it really hurts to say this but apparently the subscription set up I had is no longer available and the pass is too much for me monthly (to watch 1 team play). good luck to the team this season because I’m not forking out that much to watch 1 game a week.

I hope y’all enjoy the games!

Questionmark

I wish Jake could magically acquire Zusi’s touch.

SportsChum

SKC looks like a well oiled machine everywhere except the final 3rd 🙁

InToTouch

Memo Rodriguez is not an upgrade over Felipe Hernandez. This ref is also blowing the good game he’d called in the first half

Wes

Definitely missing Walter

Josh Wallace

Johnny Russell is gassed. Time for him to come out.

jdkus11

I love watching Davis annoy Bouanga to death by shoving him and just being in his face.

Wes

Wow Melia, this team 🤦‍♂️

Josh Wallace

The way the game is going its been past time to make changes. SKC needs fresh legs on the field.

SportsChum

Pulido looks like his legs are stuck in mud

Mister Murse

We were flat and dead at half time. We sparked a bit, but our offense has been dead since the 60th minute. We rely on memo (better than I expected), thommy (MoTM), and the fullbacks to make something. Why haven’t we subbed? Thommy started limping in the 70th.
Russell hasn’t had enough gas for his final touch.
Salloi has zero power.
Pulido… where is he? He had turnovers, he hasn’t produced.

Vermes is setting up for stupid injures and a repeat of last season.

jdkus11

I’m pretty happy with that result. Too many scary moments in the back and I wish we were more clinical with our finishing, but we got lucky that LAFC was off too.

kcrews123

Yay, another draw. Granted it was an entertaining game to watch, but a draw nonetheless.

Some might say that LAFC was off so we should be glad for the point, but to me that seems like all the more reason we should have been able to get 3.
2 draws against depleted and tired teams, and another against a team that was obviously missing a beat. If we’re getting draws now, what are we going to do when we play a full strength team that isn’t off their game?

Pulido looked better but not $4m better. At his price tag he needs to start doing A LOT more.

Russell and Thommy (at minimum) should have been off by the 70th. Keeping the both of them and Pulido is playing with fire in terms of possible injuries. Couple that with Memo not being a good enough replacement for Remi, and you’ve gotta do what you can to avoid injuries now.

Another game where we won’t the stats, another draw. Rinse and repeat.

Memo was bad.

Josh Wallace

Though no goals, this was a fun game to watch. Intensity, tactics, it had everything but goals. a couple quick thoughts:

Memo Rodriguez was really good in the midfield today. I also thought Nemanja Radoja had his best game of the season thus far. He was so clean on the ball and did so well playing us out of pressure.

If your PV, I understand why in this intense of a game, you might not want to make a sub late because they need to work into the game BUT, Russell and Pulido were gassed. You cant tell me that Afrifa or Vargas wouldn’t at least make stronger runs and track back. I think once it hit the 70th min, PV was content with a draw because we weren’t getting much offensively.
