Weekend two of the MLS regular season saw Sporting Kansas City have their home opener at Sporting Park against the Columbus Crew. Two goals by Dejan Joveljic saw Sporting pick up their first point of the season in a 2-2 draw with the Crew.

Elsewhere this week, it was the opening weekend for MLS Next Pro, with Sporting KC II starting the season on the road at Energizer Park against St. Louis City 2. A lengthy delay after an early injury to St. Louis’s Owen Jorgensen delayed what was a rough start to the season for SKCII. The final in St. Louis yesterday was 4-0 to City 2.

Here are the stats and milestones from yesterday’s two games.
