Johnny Russell became the 14th player to play 15,000 minutes in all competitions for KC.

In the 14th minute, Russell passed Mo Johnston and moved into 15th place all time for minutes played in MLS competitions. In the 80th minute, Russell then passed Benny Feilhaber and moved into 14th all time on that list. He finished the game with 13,854 minutes played.

In the 60th minute, Russell passed Jack Jewsbury and moved into 14th place all time for minutes played in all competitions. He finished the game with 15,004 minutes played.

Russell made his 199th appearance in all competitions, breaking his tie with Feilhaber for 14th all time on that list.

At 34 years, 116 days, Andreu Fontas passed Zavagnin and became the 15th oldest player to appear in a league game and all competitions for KC.
