Alan Pulido is heating up at just the right time

The rumors are swirling around Sporting KC’s star striker, Alan Pulido. His old club Chivas wants him back, but all of a sudden Sporting KC looks like a team who wants to compete this season. This week, the Shades of Blue Soccer Show tries to decide what to do with the 32-year-old Mexican.

It was a big week in the world of soccer with the Champion’s League Final, the Messi to MLS news, and SKC climbing above the MLS playoff line. Robert Castellanos played his best match ever in the top flight, scoring a goal along the way. The replacement defense team of the Robert & Robert Associates kept us out of trouble, for the most part, in the 4-1 win over Austin FC. Khiry Shelton got in on the scoring and Peter Vermes had some strong words for him after the match. Daniel Salloi wore the captain’s armband for the first time in his career.
