Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: Debinha Scores Current’s 100th Goal
It was a disaster of a weekend for all three of Kansas City’s teams as all three lost, eliminating one team from the playoffs, and putting the other two on the verge of elimination. On Friday night in Lawrence, Sporting KC II couldn’t take advantage of their home field advantage, falling to Austin FC II 2-0 at Rock Chalk Park to end their season. On Saturday night both Sporting KC and the KC Current were on the road for big games. The Current were on the East Coast to take on the Washington Spirit and surrendered a stoppage time winner to fall 2-1.
