Across State Lines: Bennett Signs with Orlando

Another former Kansas City player has a new club, as former Kansas City Current forward, Elyse Bennett has a new club. Bennett signed with the Orlando Pride through the end of the 2025 season. Bennett, who was last playing in Spain with Deportivo de La Coruna returns to the NWSL where she spent time with the Current, San Diego Wave, and OL Reign (now Seattle Reign). She made her debut for Orlando last night in the CONCACAF Women’s Champions Cup.

Another player on the move is Isaiah LeFlore, the former Sporting KC academy player, who played on an academy contract with Sporting KC II has been loaned by the Philadelphia Union to Detroit City in the USL Championship for the rest of the season.
