Needed help

With three players at the Olympics, three more on the Season Ending Injury list and four out for at least this match, the Current are a little short-handed. Prior to the first Summer Cup game, the Current added Grace Bahr as a National Team Replacement. With even more players unavailable, the Current added Midfielders Sabrina Weinman and Janae DeFazio as two more National Team Replacement players. Weinman played for the USLW league’s Northern Colorado Rain. DeFazio played for UCLA in college.

The Current also recently made a trade for Alana Cook from Seattle but she will be unavailable until the next match when the transfer window officially opens.

Current head coach Vlatko Andonovski will be challenged with juggling a backline with only one natural center back healthy now that Stine Ballisager is back.
