Officially under weather delay. Not a bad idea when there’s a tornado warning for Philly itself. Looks like this line of strong storms should clear out pretty quickly, though I’m not sure how long they wait for restarts.

So for me, the comments don’t update live the way they did on SBN. I have to reload site to see new comments, and nothing highlights new comments. Really undercuts the experience. Any idea if some functionality can be added there? Or if there’s some setting I can change. So far I can’t access any sort of site settings as a guest poster and there’s still no way to set up an account.
Yeah, that’s what I’m experiencing as well.
I have this awesome dashboard of all the comments as an admin that I’m sitting on to approve new “guests.”
We have a meeting with our site designer and he working on lots of stuff for us. This will be another request. If there is a WordPress plugin you know of, let me know. I haven’t had a chance to dig yet with all the other site stuff (and, ya know, life).
I’m sure there’s a ton of stuff to do. In no way was I “complaining”. Just passing along feedback as requested. I know you guys are putting in tons of time behind the scenes trying to configure things. And WordPress can be a real pain to configure and manage.

Sorry to join in on here, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something. There isn’t a way to set up an account yet is there? I see some people have profile pictures, but I can’t seem to set anything up myself. And I access the website on my phone and computer, but it seems like I have to make a new comment profile on the computer since I don’t technically have an account. Sorry to post here, there’s just not a great spot to post questions.
That seems to be the case right now. We’ve asked our developer and I think he’s working on it. But I’ll follow up.

I came here to say this. The MLS360 broadcast said 7:40 CST.
I appreciate Apple+ as a dedicated platform for the growth of MLS. Looking forward to a future when weather delays get better treatment though as this 30 sec loop is rather brutal.
Yeah, I just flipped to MLS 360. It’d be nice if it was just the MLS 360 broadcast over there, so I don’t have to flip back to check. OR maybe have the announcers do some talking from the stadium.
This is where non-local broadcasts lack the team knowledge depth to fill. Nate could fill no problem.
MLS 360 is a wonderful solution to this. Just set a timer for 7:40 and check back on SKC then.
Quite the switch up tonight, but at least PV is trying something. I’m glad Fontas is being sat and Shelton too. Even if it bites us in the butt tonight, they have to know that their positions are not guaranteed.
I think the Fontas move surprised me the most.
And I just assumed Rindov would be ahead of Castellanos, but I missed on that. Robert’s article today about him being good friends with Pulido already is interested. Seems like Pulido motivates him to be better.

I was animal80dvm on TBT. I was really expecting Duke or Voloder. With PV, I expected Duke. I honestly figured that Melia would be in after last week and if he performs poorly, it gives them the reason why it is Pulskamps job from here on.
It feels like one of those PV stubbornly trying to prove a point that he really wants to bench Fontas and he’s going to do it even though it maybe isn’t the best week for it with the Sweat suspension.
Or, he might just like what he’s seen from Castellanos in practice.
I think Voloder has done pretty well at LB.
Excited to see the new players. Was at the Current game this morning/afternoon. Great atmosphere with the record crowd of over 11,000. First half was painful but the ladies showed a lot of spirit in the second half before finally running out of steam. Will definitely be back.

Yeah, I don’t know why they couldn’t do a dragon kit in their colors. Dragons are fictional. They can be whatever color you want.
I’m assuming the red is in honor of Bruce Lee’s Chinese heritage. Red is a very powerful color in Chinese culture (long predating Communism), and on its own merits it makes perfect sense to have a red dragon jersey given that dragons also have a very long cultural history in China. But it’s a really jarring choice for Seattle, which otherwise has one of the more distinctive color schemes in the league. If I were a Seattle fan there’s no way I’d want to wear a red jersey, for the same reasons I argued against the Current using red uniforms in a different thread.
Seems to me that if you are going to do a Bruce Lee tribute jersey it should have been a plain yellow track suit with a thin black stripe (or 3, if Adidas insists) down the sleeve.

How are you getting Spanish? I only have the English or local broadcast as options
All games are available in Spanish, with Canadian games also in French. Annoyingly, it’s not part of the in-game choices. When you first select the game from the overall menu, it’ll take you to a page where you choose whether to watch live or from the beginning. On that page there’s another option to set your default language; that’s where you choose Spanish instead of English. It really needs to change to an in-game option, but that’s how you do it. Or at least that’s how it works for me on Roku. If you’re already watching the game, wait for a break in play, back out of the game, and re-select it while looking for the language option.

I like the new cbs over fontas and voloder, fontas shouldn’t have been resigned as slow as he is. Voloder I don’t think is the answer for the future, but he’s doing ok at lb today.
Voloder, Rosero, and Castellanos have all been good. Leibold when healthy is probably better but Voloder looks plenty serviceable there and it gives him game time to develop.
It feels decent as a fan too. Everytime I saw fontas in there, I knew he was going to get smoked at some point and last game just sealed it for me.
I could definitely see Leibold at LB, Voloder at LCB and Rosero next to him. Castellanos played well, but Voloder has such good distribution in the back. Rosero had a couple solid distribution moments too.

Joins as a sub and plays like he’s been running 4 marathons already. Loses ball…jogs, doesn’t make runs to help lanes open up, Stands around (he can do that from the bench), piss poor control (as a forward!) I mean……
Yeah, like 25 minutes in he couldn’t make a run back and Remi, who has played all the minutes in all the games (I think), had to run back and cover for him.
With the way he plays sometimes, I struggle to understand how he ever made it professionally
Honestly that was a positive result to build on. Plus it looks like someone finally figured out how to shut down Kibble SC.
I’m left feeling neutral after that. We didn’t lose, but man, still only 2 goals in 6 games, with 3 points. That’s bad.
The positive is that the backline looked SOOOO much better, and I think not having Sweat or Fontas is in does directly correlate to us walking away with a point vs a loss. What’s disheartening is knowing that next week, it’s probably back to Fontas and Sweat.
Don’t jinx. I hope we have become aware fontas is a liability… I hope we never see sweat again unless on another team. I already don’t have much expectations for this year already (hope to eat crow later on). I dream of another Seth and Chance-like players we can find someday.
I feel like Sweat has to be in the doghouse for a long time.

Highlights from apple show none from us…. Big surprise(sarcasm) Timmy looked solid, bailed us out. I’m not sold on voloder he scares me back there but was serviceable. Remy is such an undersung hero. Cbs were much much better. Not much to say from middle to up front. On another note,
