Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: Comets Advance to Ron Newman Cup Final

Over the weekend, the Kansas City Comets swept the Milwaukee Wave in their series to advance to the Ron Newman Cup Final. The Comets started the weekend with a last second 5-4 win in Milwaukee on Friday night. Up 1-0 in the series the Comets jumped out to a 6-0 lead in game 2 at Cable Dahmer Arena early in the 4th quarter. The Wave though fought back, eventually taking the lead 7-6 before Robert Palmer scored an equalizer in the final minutes to send the game to overtime. In overtime a giveaway by the Wave was pounced on by Christian Anderaos who got an opening and finished off his hattrick and the series to give KC a 8-7 win.
