Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: Another Divided Weekend

It was another divided weekend of soccer for Kansas City’s professional teams with the three teams going 1-1-1 on the weekend. On Saturday night, the KC Current got things going with a 2-1 win in Orlando over the Orlando Pride. That same night, Sporting Kansas City couldn’t continue the run, falling 1-0 to the Chicago Fire. On Sunday at Rock Chalk Park, Sporting KC II ended in a 1-1 draw with North Texas SC that Sporting won 5-4 on penalty kicks to earn the extra point.
