Pulido and Salloi have to be sharp and active in this match. Both have been invisible at times through the season. Even Jake Davis might be on notice tonight as his last two matches have had a few too many mistakes.

The F*ck STL changes are a bit much like yes they are an obnoxious fan base, it’s a trash city with no hope and anyone who is actually cool leaves STL as soon as possible but we can’t be as trashy as them.
They deserve it. They’re a trash fan base from a trash city, who support a team thats a bunch of hacking trash players that consistently play dirty.
They’re booing Rosero when he touches the ball, despite him being the one pushed, kicked, and shoved with only 1 call going his way

Defensively, SKC looks all over the place. All half long, Davis and Rosero have been getting beat by simple long balls. Honestly, it looks like a combination of the formation and lack of proactivity from the backline. One less midfield-minded player (with Pulido basically playing up top) means SKC aren’t getting enough pressure on the ball in the midfield, and STL are basically playing long balls over and through Davis and Rosero because of it.

There’s bodying up, then there’s that. Agada was floored by Klauss, but no call. You can’t body up to remove a player from being able to play the ball.

Salloi was fouled they got that right, but the no-call for Agada is hot garbage.
The second one was a foul, but make no mistake STL looked way better than SKC that first half. They won every second ball and after that first goal, and they just put numbers in the midfield to make it harder for SKC to play through them. I wouldn’t be surprised if PV made a shift back to 4-3-3, bringing on a midfielder.
Allen Chapman is calling the dumbest game I’ve seen in a long time. 2 goals that should’ve been called back for fouls in the buildup. If only I had a gif handy of the foul they called on Khiry last year against LAFC for comparison. There’s no way they can call that and not call the junk STL is doing.

Looks like Johnny Russell is gonna come in. I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes out Pulido and Thommy goes back to the midfield.
Looks like we will see Pierre at right back next week. It will probably be good for Davis to take a seat for a game. This game has been rough for him. Got beat in behind multiple times, including on the goal, and headed/passed balls back into dangerous areas. He needs to watch for a little bit.
Put Vargas in for Salloi now.
