Juice Boxes and Post Game Stats: Midweek Action

Two Kansas City teams were in midweek action this week with the KC Current and Sporting KC II taking the field. The Current picked up a big, much needed, as they defeated the Chicago Red Stars 4-0 at Children’s Mercy Park on Wednesday. On Thursday night in Lawrence, Sporting KC II picked up a 2-2 draw and an extra point in the post game shoot out 5-4 over the Tacoma Defiance. Here are the stats and milestones from the two games.

Hailie Mace recorded her 9th assist in all competitions, tying her with Lo LaBonta for the most all time for KC.

Debinha’s 2 goals gave her 7 in all competitions for KC, moving her into 4 all time on that list for the Current.

Kate Del Fava made her 41st start in all competitions, tying her with AD Franch for 6th all time on that list.

KC NWSL

CeCe Kizer’s goal gave her 12 in all competitions for KC NWSL teams, tying her with LaBonta for 6th all time on that list.
