Keeping Current: First Trophy

So much to discuss in this episode! Thad Bell from the Kansas City Soccer Journal is joined by Daniel Sperry from the KC Star to discuss the Kansas City Current. The Current won the most recent version of The Women’s Cup. This followed up a strong Summer Cup where they advanced to the final later in the year. We also break down which players stood out to us ver the two tournaments

Despite the great league record, the strong performances in the Summer Cup, and winning the Women’s Cup, the Current keep working on the roster. . Kenyan star Mwanalima Adam Jerekoin has been signed and second-year forward Alexa Spaanstra has been traded to the Portland Thorns for some money. Not only do we discuss the moves we know about, we believe there are more moves planned and discuss what know… or believe. What will the Current do?
