It was another rough weekend for Sporting KC and Sporting KC II while the KC Current picked up another win at home. Sporting KC got things started on Saturday night with a loss to CF Montreal 2-0. The KC Current turned things around on Sunday when hosting Gotham FC. It finished on Sunday night in Lawrence as Sporting KC II fell 4-1 to the Houston Dynamo 2. Here are the stats and milestones from the three games.

Sporting KC

Tim Melia made his 250th appearance in all competitions, he’s the 9th player to reach that mark.

Roger Espinoza made his 285th league start for KC, tying him with Matt Besler for 2nd all time on that list.

Daniel Salloi made his 183rd appearance in all competitions, tying him with Matt McKeon for 14th all time on that list.

It was Salloi’s 164th appearance in MLS competitions, tying him with Mo Johnston for 14th all time on that list.

In the 22nd minute, Johnny Russell passed Josh Wolff and moved into 19th place all time for minutes played in all competitions for KC. He finished the game with 13,008 minutes played.

It was Russell’s 171st appearance in all competitions, tying him with Ilie Sanchez for 17th all time on that list.

It was Russell’s 158th appearance in MLS competitions, breaking his tie with Chance Myers for 17th all time on that list.

It was his 148th league appearance, breaking his tie with Myers for 17th all time on that list as well.

Lo LaBonta made her 42nd league start, breaking her tie with Kristen Edmonds for the most all time for the Current.

LaBonta’s assist was her 9th in all competitions, breaking her tie with Hailie Mace for the most all time for the Current.
